Custom software built around the way you work
When off-the-shelf software does not fit the way you work, we build the solution that does: back-office platforms, application programming interfaces (APIs), ERP-style business systems and integrations between your existing applications. Our team in Baku works with C#/.NET, PostgreSQL, Redis and Kafka. You get a German-speaking contact, quotes in euro and working hours that overlap almost fully with the German day.
When custom software pays off
- Your staff type the same data into several systems and spreadsheets. That is where the errors and the double work come from.
- Standard software forces you to adapt your processes to the program rather than the other way round, and every customisation costs more than the last.
- A legacy system still runs, but only a handful of people understand it, and every change has become a risk.
- Your applications do not exchange data: orders, warehouse, accounting and sales all work with different figures.
- You need an interface for partners, customers or a mobile app, but your current system offers no clean API.
- Your in-house IT team does not have the capacity to deliver a larger development project alongside day-to-day operations.
How we build your software
Requirements analysis
We talk to the people who will use the software, look at your workflows and existing systems, and write down what the first version must do and what can wait. The outcome is an agreed scope that forms the basis for a reliable quote.
Design and architecture
We design the data model, interfaces and system architecture and define how the new solution will work with your existing applications. For user interfaces we produce clickable prototypes in advance, so you can give feedback early.
Development in two-week sprints
We develop in two-week sprints. At the end of every sprint we show you a working interim result. You see progress continuously and can adjust priorities before a wrong turn becomes entrenched.
Go-live and support
We accompany the go-live, train your team and provide three months of free technical support after launch. For ongoing support we agree an SLA with you.
What we build for you
- Back-office platforms
- Internal applications for orders, scheduling, billing or customer management. With roles, a change log and the reports your departments actually use.
- ERP-style business systems
- Industry systems that bring purchasing, production, warehouse, sales and receivables into one application, built around how you work rather than a generic template.
- APIs and interfaces
- Documented REST interfaces for partners, customers, web portals and mobile apps, plus connections to external services such as payment providers, shipping services or accounting software.
- Integrating existing systems
- We connect applications that have so far run side by side. With Kafka as a messaging platform, data can be exchanged reliably and promptly between systems without every system having to know about every other.
- Modernising legacy systems
- We analyse long-established applications, preserve the business knowledge they contain and move them step by step to a maintainable architecture. Day-to-day operations are disrupted as little as possible, because old and new parts can run in parallel for a while.
- Documentation and handover
- You receive technical documentation, interface descriptions and an introduction for your team, so that your own IT or another provider can develop the system further later on.

Engagement models
How we charge depends on how precisely your project can be described upfront. All our quotes are in euro.
- Fixed price after requirements analysis
- Suitable when the scope is clearly defined. After the requirements analysis you receive a fixed-price quote for the agreed scope.
- Time and material
- Suitable when requirements are still evolving during the project. You pay for the actual effort and steer priorities sprint by sprint.
- Dedicated team
- Suitable for long-term development. A fixed team works exclusively on your product and is billed monthly.
In practice: KartonERP
KartonERP is our ERP system for corrugated board plants. It covers the whole flow from the customer order through reel cutting and production to warehouse, sales, receivables and the cash desk: 17 modules, 9 report types, 4 warehouse types. Cutting and reel consumption are calculated automatically, product cost is determined using the weighted average cost (AVCO) method and payments are allocated according to the FIFO rule. Every movement is tied to a document and every change is logged. We work the same way on your project: every number can be traced, and the workflows fit your industry.
Frequently asked questions about custom software
How much does custom software development cost?
It depends mainly on the scope of functionality, the number of systems to be connected, requirements for data migration, security and availability, and whether web interfaces or mobile apps are part of the project. We only give a firm figure after the requirements analysis. In the free 30-minute initial consultation, however, we can already tell you which engagement model suits your project and what will drive the effort.
How long does development take?
The timeline depends on the scope, the number of integrations, any legacy data to be migrated and how available the right people on your side are. We recommend starting with a first usable version covering the most important functions and extending it step by step. Because we work in two-week sprints, you see a result every two weeks.
Who owns the source code?
Rights to the source code and the software are set out in the contract. We discuss this with you before the project starts, so it is clear upfront which rights you receive and in what form the source code and documentation will be handed over.
What happens after go-live?
We provide three months of free technical support after go-live. For ongoing support (bug fixes, updates, new features) we agree an SLA that sets response times and scope.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Yes, that is the usual case. First we analyse your existing applications, data structures and interfaces. Then we connect the new solution via APIs or a messaging platform such as Kafka, or replace the old system step by step so that day-to-day operations can continue.
Is outsourcing software development to Baku practical for a German company?
Baku is on UTC+4 all year, 3 hours ahead of Germany in winter and 2 in summer, so a normal German working day overlaps almost completely with ours. You have a German-speaking contact, sprint demos take place online, and we reply within 24 hours on working days.
Where is our data stored?
When we take over operation of the system, we host it in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Where we process your data, we offer a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.
